Lopez Lomong

Lopez Lomong

In 2008 I was lucky enough to come across a young Lopez Lomong. If you are not familiar with him he is a US Olympian with a strong story and background. He is a South Sudanese-born American track and field athlete. Lomong, one of the Lost Boys of Sudan, came to the United States at the age of 16 and became a U.S. citizen in 2007.

My story is not my own – it’s the story of thousands of children who are still victims to the evil of war.

I dream to empower people to look at their lives in a new light and take action in their communities and in the world. Sharing my story is my passion and I would love to come speak at your school, business, or community!

Lopez Lomong was and still is passionate in getting his story out. When I first met him he wanted an online presence to help spread his message. I helped in setting him up with WordPress and creating the first few version of theme.

Since then Lopez Lomong has become bigger yet still passionate. I wish him nothing but the best!
